Solution Overview

This titanium ore beneficiation solution realizes the preliminary enrichment of ilmenite through spiral chute and shaking table, and then carries out deep purification through multi-stage magnetic separation, finally obtaining high-quality titanium concentrate with TiO₂≥48%. Complete process flow

1. Pre-treatment stage

Uniform feeding:

  • The raw ore is fed evenly through the silo with vibrating feeder to ensure the stable operation of the subsequent processes.

  • Installation of grizzly screen to remove large debris and gravel.

Wash Screening:

  • Trommel screen/rotary scrubber for efficient washing and screening operations.

  • High-pressure water jet rinsing to effectively remove -2mm sludge and impurities

  • Classify the raw materials into +2mm and -2mm particle levels to improve the sorting efficiency.

2. Gravity enrichment stage

Spiral chute roughing:

  • Processing -2mm particle size materials, strictly control the feed concentration in the range of 30-35%.

  • Optimize the sorting effect by adjusting the inclination angle, and initially enrich ilmenite.

  • Rough concentrate with TiO₂ content of 30-35% can be obtained.

Shaking table selection:

  • Deeply select the rough concentrate to further increase the grade of ilmenite.

  • Adjust the parameters of stroke and stroke times to optimize the sorting precision.

  • TiO₂≥45% shaker concentrate can be obtained.

3. Magnetic separation and purification stage

Multi-stage magnetic separation:

  • Adopt permanent magnetic cylinder magnetic separator to carry out multi-stage magnetic separation.

  • Separate ilmenite and other non-magnetic minerals by medium-strength magnetic separation.

  • Strong magnetic separation to further purify and remove weak magnetic impurities
