I. Program Overview

This ilmenite beneficiation solution provides a combined process with gravity and magnetic separation as the core for the different characteristics of sand-type and rock-type ilmenite. Through scientific and reasonable process design and professional equipment configuration, it makes full use of the density and magnetic difference between minerals to realize the efficient recovery and enrichment of ilmenite, which is characterized by stable process, strong adaptability and easy operation.

Process flow

1. Alluvial ilmenite beneficiation

   • Washing and screening:

     • Trommel screen/rotary scrubber to remove impurities

     • Processing capacity: 50-300t/h

   • Gravity enrichment:

     • Spiral chute roughing and sweeping

     • Feed concentration: 30-35%

   • Magnetic separation and purification:

     • Multi-gradient magnetic separation and sorting (low magnetic field roughing, high magnetic field selection)

     • Field strength range: 0.8-1.5T

2. Igneous ilmenite beneficiation

   • Crushing and grinding:

     • Jaw crusher coarse crushing

     • Cone crusher medium crushing

     • Ball mill fine grinding to -0.3mm

   • Gravity enrichment:

     • Spiral chute pre-enrichment

   • Magnetic separation purification:

     • Multi-gradient magnetic separation

     • Adjustable field strength, adapt to different particle size
