I. Program Overview

Chrome sand ore (ferrochrome ore) is an important strategic mineral resource, which is widely used in metallurgy, refractory materials and chemical industry. This chromesandore beneficiation solution adopts the process of "ore washing - spiral chute gravity separation - magnetic separation and iron removal" to realize the high efficiency enrichment and purification of chromite ore, which has the advantages of simple process, energy saving and environmental protection, investment saving, and large processing capacity, and can significantly improve the economic benefits of beneficiation.


Process flow

  1. Pre-treatment system

    • Raw ore is fed evenly through the silo

    • The rotary scrubber is used for preliminary screening and washing to remove clay and impurities.

    • Heavy-duty trommel screen for particle size grading to create conditions for sorting.

  2. Gravity separation system

    • Primary spiral chute roughing: initial chromite enrichment

    • Secondary spiral chute sweeping: improve recovery and reduce tailings grade

    • Sorting particle size range: 0.1-5mm

  3. Magnetic separation system

    • Adopting permanent magnet multi-cylinder magnetic separator for iron removal.

    • Multi-stage magnetic separation can be configured according to the iron content of the raw ore.
