I. Program Overview

As an important non-metallic mineral resource, barite (BaSO₄) has a wide range of applications in oil drilling, chemical raw materials, fillers and other fields. This barite beneficiation solution adopts gravity beneficiation as the main process, for the coarse embedded, high grade barite ore, through the crushing-screening-jigging separation process, to realize the efficient recovery of barite, with the advantages of saving investment, low operating costs, environmental protection and no pollution.

Applicable conditions

• Ore type: coarse embedded (+0.5mm) barite ore

• Grade of raw ore: BaSO₄ content ≥30%.

• Product requirements: concentrate BaSO₄≥85%, specific gravity≥4.2

III. Process Flow

1. Crushing system

   • Jaw crusher for coarse crushing

   • Cone crusher for fine crushing

   • Crushing product size: -20mm

2. Screening and grading

   • Circular vibrating screen for particle size classification

   • Grading size: +5mm, 5-2mm, 2-0.5mm

3. Jigging

   • Coarse-grained jigger processing +2mm particle size

   • Fine-grained jigger processing 2-0.5mm granularity

   • Sorting concentration: 30-40%

4. Dewatering and drying

   • Preliminary dewatering by dewatering screen

   • Natural drying or low temperature drying
