Product Overview

Chute feeder is a kind of feeding equipment which is used to transport lumpy materials evenly from storage bin to receiving device, widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical industry, construction, mineral processing and coal and other industrial fields, especially suitable for conveying coarse-grained materials (such as raw ores) to a section of crushing equipment.

The width of the trough of this equipment is usually 2-2.5 times of the maximum particle size of the feed material. The large-sized chute feeder can handle iron ore with a particle size of less than 500mm. Among them, 980*1240 specification slot feeder is most commonly used, its feeding size is 350-0mm, which can perfectly match the feeding demand of 400*600 jaw crusher.

Equipment Maintenance and Care

  • Bearing maintenance:
    Bearings bear the full load of the equipment, good lubrication is vital to their life and directly affects the service life and operating rate of the entire machine. It should be ensured that the injected lubricant is clean and well sealed. The main oil injection parts include:

    • Rotating bearings

    • Roller bearings

    • All gears

    • Movable bearings and sliding surfaces

  • Daily Inspection:

    • Newly installed wheel hoops need to be checked frequently to prevent loosening;

    • Pay attention to observe whether the working condition of each part of the machine is normal;

    • Regularly check the wear degree of easy-to-wear parts and replace them in time;

    • Remove the dust and debris on the base frame plane to avoid equipment stalling;

    • When the bearing oil temperature rises abnormally, stop the machine immediately for inspection and troubleshooting;

    • If there is impact sound of rotating gears during operation, it should be stopped and checked and dealt with in time.
